Frequently Asked Questions

What supplies are included in your "all-inclusive" paint social packages?
I bring and supply everything needed to host a paint party event. I offer both public group events and private parties. Supplies include; the paints needed to execute the original work of art the participants will be duplicating, canvases or paint surfaces, easels (determined by size), paintbrushes, plates and bowls for mixing, paper towels, aprons, table cloths and a great sense of humor!

What should I expect?
You can expect to have a no-hassle, open experience filled with laughter and light heartedness. This is a time to have fun, let loose and explore your creativity with no judgement from myself or others. These paint projects are intended to be expressive and move quickly. I do not expect perfection nor should you. These events are for entertainment purposes and not to generate award-winning artwork. It’s simply a time to enjoy yourself and the company around you! If you desire more intensive training, I do offer art instruction teaching specific techniques and skill development in a variety of mediums.

How do I register?
Registration is easy. Just check the box next to the scheduled social that works for you. Enter all the required information. This will add the class to your shopping cart and once you check-out you’re ready to go! (If requesting a private party, you will enter the additional information and I will follow-up with you to confirm details and receive a *refundable security deposit to secure date.
Reserved seats are between $35 - $50 per person with a minimum of 6 guests for private parties. I can’t wait to meet you in person!
-
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your registration at one of my public social paint events, you must do so within 48 hours of the scheduled event. A credit will be issued to use for a later booking. No cash refund will be issued.
If you need to cancel a privately hosted Paint & Sip social party registration your *refundable security deposit will be issued in the same format it was paid within one week of cancellation. The security deposit will only be refunded if the notice of cancellation is given 10 business days prior to the scheduled event.
-
Does the age of the participants matter?
Each “Make & Take” paint and sip social has a suggested age range. This is to ensure the success of each participant. Parties listed as 21+ will have alcoholic beverage provided so a valid ID is required to show proof of age requirement.
-
Is what I wear to the party important?
Keep in mind I do provide disposable aprons to participants, however, some paints will stain clothing. I always suggest wearing something that you don’t care if “during your expressive Van Gogh moment” it gets damaged.
-
Can I bring my own food and beverages?
Your social paint and sip will include a host provided snack and a drink with straw and lid. Spills happen and we do not want to have that “Bounty quicker-picker-upper moment” and potentially ruin someone’s work of art. The 21+ indicated paint & sip socials include both host provided, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. However, none of these parties are BYOB so please abide by these enforceable guidelines.

How do I host a Private Paint Party?
Hosting a private paint party is simple and AWESOME. This allows you to customize your guest list but I take care of the rest. You decide the theme and featured artwork and I bring everything needed to setup and cleanup. No-hassle, no stress, no mess, just a good time with the guests! These are perfect for special occasions like bachelorette and bridal shower parties, co-worker happy hours, birthday and retirement parties and of course “Ladies Night Out!”
I do require a 6 person minimum and a *refundable security deposit when booking a private paint & sip social party.
