Having one person you can trust or admire reach out and support you-validating that what you believe in might actually be good, is huge. I really hope to be that person for someone else in my own creative life.

Therapeutic Art

Life's messy. No matter how hard we try to keep it together, it gets all sorts of ugly. We all ride those ups and down sometimes feeling like a roller coaster waiting for that pivotal moment when you reach the top, only to find that sudden gut wrenching upheaval of emotions.

I GET IT!

If you have read the “About” tab, you've learned that I have lived with anxiety and depression for most of my life. In my own past, I was introduced to expressive art to help heal, cope and explore my inner soul to help create, restore and maintain life balance. I realized all I have to do is offer up what comes naturally to me--which is to share my passion for art through inspiration, motivation and encouragement--my heart voice will be there for you when you're ready. All it takes is finding the bravery to be true to what’s in your heart and in your spirit. It’s not always easy (that’s the brave part) but it is simple to just allow the process.

Therapeutic art is offered as a one-to-one with me in person or as a group session in a workshop format. Cost starts at $60 per session per person, but I do offer monthly packages and workshop retreats which allows you to set a dedicated time to be expressive and explore self care through a creative outlet. The coaching services I provide as a therapeutic art facilitator is not intended to replace psychotherapy or mental health treatment. It is just another avenue of self-care we all deserve.

After reading and resonating with the brilliant quote by Windy Tsonas, I made it my life mission to do the same.

“I’m way too busy to make time for art making.” says everyone.

Yet we still find time to watch Netflix, scroll social media, grab the fancy coffee, help a loved one with that thing they need help with, put in the extra work hours, eat and breathe, right? Yes. yes and yes to it all!

Let's face it. We all make time to do the things we think we feel are worth doing. Art is worth your time and if you let it, will almost always make you see. And seeing is the point. Art makes us think and we don’t have to be creative geniuses; we just have to get out of our own way and open our eyes. Being an art facilitator allows me to guide others to focus on wellness and self-care, to create a space to join-in the creative process and simply be free to expressive themselves. Whether in simple black and white or full explosive color, we all see things differently.
