God’s promise to us all is eternal salvation. I truly believe his plan for my life is to seek him and spread his message through the talent that he has blessed me with.

I have had the honorable privilege of being asked to complete several biblical painting commissions and plan to continue to grow this body of scriptural work.

My “Beauty Not Brokenness” series is fueled by pain, trauma, or mental illness many of us have or are suffering. Contrary to what we believe, this does not define brokenness. After losing my own daughter to suicide in July 2024, from years of suffering mental illness, I have been broken to the core with a pierced soul that I never believed could feel whole again. “Yatsusa,” a Japanese term meaning to dress-up or beautify, served as the foundation for the development of a delicate technique of repairing cherished pottery with the intricate use of gold, called Kintsugi. Although not perfect, it allows one to see its beauty once again.

The intention behind this upcoming series goes beyond mere aesthetics; it aspires to be a guiding beacon for those who resonate with its message. The paintings will intend to serve as mirrors, reflecting back the hidden aspects of the viewer's own journey. As individuals engage with the series, they might find themselves on a transformative path, guided by the wisdom and energy of their chosen spirit animals.
