God’s Promise

God’s promise to us all is eternal salvation. I truly believe his plan for my life is to seek him and spread his message through the talent that he has blessed me with.

I have had the honorable privilege of being asked to complete several biblical painting commissions and plan to continue to grow this body of scriptural work.

The first was nothing less than the enormous task of producing a 108” x 51” (9 ft x 4 ft) reproduction of “The Last Supper.” in the fall of 2024. The common ground from which this commission originated was shared with both the client and me. We both suffered the horrific loss of each of our daughters. Her daughter to murder and mine to suicide.

The next contracted commissions were Christmas gifts for my client’s husband. She specifically asked me to create two paintings, The Lion and The Lamb and Jesus walking on water. I then created concept sources for each and completed the first 24” x 36” oil on canvas, titled, “His Dual Nature - Revelation 5:5-6” and delivered it on Christmas Eve, 2025. Needless to say, I did not finish the second 24” x 36” oil on canvas, titled, “Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid. Matthew 14:22-33,” but did complete this summer.

I was asked to paint the third commission when my client saw “His Dual Nature - Revelation 5:5-6” on social media and wanted one of her own originals. After showing her several concept sources, she remained steady at wanting the same image as the first vibrant painting. Therefore, we agreed to do a square format with the entire body of the Lion rather than the tall format with the Lion cropped. Later this week, I will be delivering her glorious 36” x 36”, oil on canvas, waiting to be titled.
