“Be Still To See”

The "Be Still To See" series is intended to be a captivating exploration of the profound connection between individuals and their spiritual essence—represented by their unique spirit animals. Just as the tranquil surface of a still pond allows the reflection of truth to become clearer, so too does a serene mind offer the opportunity for one's spirit animal to emerge from the depths of consciousness.

In each oil painting of this series, my endeavor to capture not only the visual beauty of these spirit animals but also the deeper symbolism they carry. Through a meticulous blend of colors and textures, each canvas will become a gateway to a realm where the boundaries between the physical and the ethereal blur. The viewer will be invited to immerse themselves in the vivid imagery, allowing their own mind to grow calm and receptive, in order to foster a deeper connection with their inner self.

The intention behind the series goes beyond mere aesthetics; it aspires to be a guiding beacon for those who resonate with its message. The paintings will intend to serve as mirrors, reflecting back the hidden aspects of the viewer's own journey. As individuals engage with the series, they might find themselves on a transformative path, guided by the wisdom and energy of their chosen spirit animals.

As of now, the archetypal series "Be Still To See" is still in its developmental stages, carefully nurtured by my imagination. The series is poised to be a testament to the power of art in bridging the gap between the conscious and the subconscious, between the seen and the unseen. With each stroke of my brush, I plan to bring to life not just images, but the potential for a profound exploration of the self—a journey of self-discovery facilitated by the stillness that unveils the presence of the spirit animal within.
