The “Journeys We Take Series” represents the destinations we crave, even if only within our minds. These serene visions allow us to find solace within the tranquil beauty of watercolor landscapes. Through the interplay of vivid and muted color palettes, these poetic compositions delve into the diversity of layers—some opaque, while others remain transparent.

The Reflection Series celebrates the interplay of reflective surfaces as they harmoniously bounce off each other, creating a symphony of colors. Each still life oil painting in this series presents a composition that juxtaposes soft and organic elements with hard and synthetic ones. These elements come together within a shared space, creating a cohesive whole.

One’s spirit animal often reveals itself when the mind is still. My “Be Still To See” series is intended to assist in guiding the journey of those it resonates with. This archetypal series is still in development.

My “Beauty Not Brokenness” series is fueled by pain, trauma, or mental illness many of us have or are suffering. Contrary to what we believe, this does not define brokenness. “Yatsusa,” a Japanese term meaning to dress-up or beautify, served as the foundation for the development of a delicate technique of repairing cherished pottery with the intricate use of gold, called Kintsugi. Although not perfect, it allows one to see the beauty once again. We may feel lost, broken, or grief from loosing a loved one too soon. Likewise, God's love is the gold that binds and strengthens us together, restoring peace and self-love. This archetypal series is still in development and scheduled for release in fall/winter of 2026.
